    ... and took the time for a walk around while there. Arriving at Mont Saint Michel is interesting. For some reason, I thought there was a village on the shore opposite the island. There isn't what is there is a giant car park, some hotels, an information centre and shuttle buses to take people to the island which is about 3kms away.     ... rooms. Several of us took the van into the nearest town, Port Louis, to see the fort and French East India museum. Another great visit.     ... enjoyed a lovely afternoon playing on the beach. However the highlight was a scrumptous afternoon tea of banana splits and chocolate crepes. Yum!
