Beautiful Beaches (And too Much Sun)

... were the closest. I sat out in the sun for 15 maybe 20 minutes tops, but with this sun, apparently that was enough. I moved into the shade after that, but I may have even continued to bake under the umbrella. The only parts of me that got burnt were the parts that had not seen sun yet this trip. So my arms, face, chest and lower calves were fine. Everything in between was lobster-fied. On the plus side, the tan lines that have been caused by my Capri ...

... security risk. Now I had to explain to the people where I thought I left my phone but also tell them that it could be in my bag but I just want to be sure it isn't in the airport. So the pilot comes out, chilling with a cup of tea and tells me to run and go check! So I did and couldn't find it... Turns out it was in my bag wrapped in my jersey! So I literally held up the plane for a bit. Nice. Day 1: went to the hot springs and had a mud bath! It was kind of ...

... board, we travelled for only a few minutes to our next snorkelling spot. Dave elected to read on the boat whilst Jacqui enjoyed a swim, reporting that there was much less to see here.
After that, a huge spread of rice, noodles, fish, spring rolls, morning glory and omelette was laid out, and silence descended as twenty hungry snorkellers tucked in. While we were eating, the boat carried on to ...
