We arrived in Nha Trang in the evening and were greeted by the most friendly and enthusiastic vietnamese staff at our hostel - Mojzo Inn! The hostel had a really nice vibe so we dropped our bags off and went to a nice vietnamese restaurant as recommended by the hostel before finding an english bar and watching the saints - united match! We had quite a few drinks while we were waiting for it to come on and during it so that by the time it finished at around ...

I spent the afternoon back in the cafe updating my blog and discussing wedding venues with Harriet, I wasn't feeling well but the cafe's choice of nineties boy band music cheered me up immensely :-) as did the Christmas tree. ... all well marinaded are placed around and we have to cook them for ourselves as a sort of mini barbecue. Rice and vegetables are brought ready cooked and copious beer and soft drinks loaded on the table too. What a great communal experience and some of the locals quiz us about why we're there. All of this costs us around 15 for 3 of us.

250km of dirt roads, hilly coastal roads and Rocky Mountain tracks through remote villages - what an incredible leg of the journey! 70km is our average length day - some have been up to 90km but it is a real killer in the conditions. It doesn't sound like a huge distance in a day, especially for anyone reading this who does 'road biking' at home - but with the road conditions, heat, humidity and baggage in tow on our mountain bikes it makes for an exhausting day. It is rainy season so ...
