La Victoire Vence

After brekkie it was onto Menton which is a lovely little town just before the Italian border. Menton is a much more down to earth place than its neighbours and more our scene. We found a park right on the beach and went for a wander and took in sum much needed sun. Next stop Italia!!<br>

... and not campervan parking friendly. We found a picture perfect stop just after Monte Carlo at the top of a hill overlooking the Med. We had the place to ourselves so we russelled up some brekkie in the sun which was lovely, so much so we were in t-shirts!!!

Traveling on the bus to St Paul de Vence (my last perched village day trip!) l saw some not so happy people stomping up and own and curing in French at the bus driver who wouldn't let them in due to the packed bus. Traveling through Cannes Sur Mer in the bus l thought to myself perhaps St Paul de Vence is nearby to my employers beach house...as l had been told to meet them at Cannes Sur Mer station that evening as l would be working at their Beach house for the next week. On arrival ti Nice - looks beautiful, sea blue, sand or peebles for beaches, what you would prefer!! A bit of a mixture between Darwin and Cairns!! But with a bit more history and a lot more prestigious shops. Cannes is ok, not as pretty as I thought it would be!! Would prefer to spend my time in Nice. Both great places to chill out and relax - which was done!!
