    ... on the night of the 800 year celebration of the town. Everyone seemed to be out enjoying the balmy evening and free entertainment...... And so were we! We even got interviewed by a lovely guy from the local paper. The only issue was trying to negotiate the language, which is a particular dialect of German.     ... past palatial mansions, past picturesque villages from Switzerland to France & Yvoire a medieval town, had a walk around this quaint place, had a local treat of a macaroon.

    On to Evian the source of fresh water after check in at the Hilton we went for a walk, got to Source Cachet this was originally created as St Catherines fountain.

    90% if french bread is hand made! Most French go out at least twice a day to buy bread a real cultural tradition.

    ... a carry-on. I'm not one to be contrary to an American company but Airbus makes some better planes. The plane also had a huge selection of complimentary drinks including scotch, wine, vodka, gin etc. After the two drinks at the airport I was pretty much relieved to order orange juice and water for the flight instead.
