    ... past palatial mansions, past picturesque villages from Switzerland to France & Yvoire a medieval town, had a walk around this quaint place, had a local treat of a macaroon.

    On to Evian the source of fresh water after check in at the Hilton we went for a walk, got to Source Cachet this was originally created as St Catherines fountain.

    90% if french bread is hand made! Most French go out at least twice a day to buy bread a real cultural tradition.

    Breakfast in room, picked up our tickets from the train station and changed some money from CHF to Euro. Walked to lake Geneva, took a boat ride on the lake - very cold out on the lake.     ... for a 10 hour layover. Ugh. No place to sleep.

    For the Moscow - LA leg we had a row to stretch out on and that was heaven.

    Arrived home late Thursday evening in reasonably good shape.

    All in all, an amazing and unforgettable trip!
