Last Stop in Italy
... city, we were able to walk off the ship, and walk into town. The streets of old Genoa are narrow ones that snake up the hillside. This was great, because there wasn’t a lot of vehicular traffic. It just made for tough pictures because the narrow streets were shaded by buildings. There is a lot of gorgeous architecture in Genoa. We really enjoyed just walking around and taking it all in.

Genoa and Rapallo
... announcement and everybody gets off the train, so I ask the conductor which track to go to and he says tredici. Once again practicing Italian numbers has paid off. We go to track 13 and get on another train to Rapallo. It is more of a local train so no A/C and we are sitting by a window that won't open. I am not happy as I am quite hot and sweaty. Cinque Terre
... i put on soooooo much sun screen (spf 50) and Jess put on tanning lotion once and guess who got burnt? that would be me. How unfair and lame is that?! Good thing i came prepared and brought lots of aloe vera!! lathered that on once we got back to our hostel (which we now have all to ourselves which is sick!).
