... for dinner, as we hadn't explored this town very thoroughly the previous day. We found plenty of small cobbled streets filled with cafes, bars, shops and people everywhere. It really is a great town to be in, so it depends what you are after when choosing where to stay. Amazingly some friends were staying in Monterosso at exactly the same time we were in CT, but I didn't get their fb msg until we were on the train to rome the following ...
... quiet and has a
fantastic view. There is no way that Mum would be able to climb up
here however so she will have to eat out every night.
After dropping off my bags I went
around to Mums hotel at the other end of town. Her UTI has
disappeared miraculously and she seems much happier. She is talking
about going out with the group tomorrow but we shall wait and see.
We had tea at a local seafront restaurant.
It is official.
I could actually stay here.
I wouldn't. ....

I absolutely love it and now that all the crowds have left it is even better. We went for a walk after dinner last night and it was so quiet in comparison to the last couple of months. The end if August must have marked the end of the holidays and everyone has gone. There are still a lot if people walking around, the water ...
... are all the go here, promise! I thought I sort of looked ok and then this women/girl, who was probably around 40 ish, offered me her seat!!!!!!!!
Well that was it. If she thought I looked that old that I needed a seat over her, there is nothing left for me. I was devastated. The tears welled up, I just couldn't believe that I am that old and clearly look it. Oh ...
... look like lots
of fun. They are many of them
dotted all the way along the coast.
This afternoon we had drinks at a little bar near the church of Santa Margherita and back home to cook the first bit of meat we've had since we left Perth. Yummy
