... in for some "hair raising" moments. My learning to drive on a manual has paid dividend so many times. Skills you obviously don't loose as it has been years since I have driven a manual. This dear little Fiat has performed magnificently, taking the "double-shuffles" in its wake!
Phillip did enjoy the spectacular views and it was a great decision to take that route.

The marmalade was a bonus and this morning P made himself his favourite, poached eggs with marmalade on the side.
When we finally leave Panicale, we will leave extra tubes of Vegemite with our "host, Katia" as a special gift from two Aussies to the next Aussies that stay. We all know, no other nationality would want it!! Assuming there are any left, that is?

The Cathedral is at the highest point on top of this hill and not only oversees the city below, the view of the region is worth the meander. It had been drizzling earlier in the day and hence our wet weather gear was out for the first time. However, it didn't restrict us at all and made the ascent easier as it was cool.
