    ... of my travels was for her so I let her mostly dictate what we did. Translation, we did a great deal of tourist stuff. She had an amazing time on her vacation and that is all I wanted. She's already talking about our next trip, I think someone got bit by the travel bug!

    • Also can't forget to mention my Uncle and Aunt, who live in Germany, coming to hang out in London with us. It is always nice to see family. Especially seeing Robinson siblings ...

    One of the highlights of the trip so far was our morning ballooning with Chris and Claire from "Ballooning in Tuscany". We had an early start (5am) to be down at the launch field for 5.40am and then we took off at about 6.30-6.45am on a beautifully sunny morning with fantastic views over the Tuscan countryside - the pictures hopefully do it more justice than any description I can ...

    After we left Pitigliano we headed west to check out Orvieto. Just as we were approaching the town we came upon a lookout where we could see the town sitting up on the hill. Breathtaking view. Although not technically in Tuscany it is a classic example of a hill town.

    ... vending machine outside the building. Because. Well. We've seen a bunch of them outside pharmacies here. And it's an interesting custom. Probably a good idea -- better than the awkward time spent at the register with a box of condoms I suppose.
