... in Italy for 6 months, we decided to do the right thing and apply for our visas. Any Italians we spoke to about this thought we were crazy .... "You will regret this, the paperwork will drive you mad, don't do it , just stay anyway" ......Just a few of the more polite comments!!
We had applied when we first arrived in Italy back in June , in Turin, and this was now our 4th visit to the Questura in various cities ...

... olive experience ,We have decided that our 2 olive tress in Perth are not enough .We are going to expand production , rip out the lawn and plant a grove ....However, When we woke up the next day ,after the harvest with every muscles aching (including our head from a bit too much vino rosso),we decided to rethink that one ,and agreed that the Re store in Leederville do pretty good olives also !!

Ciao for now until the next festival -Ros n Noel xxx

... but I must admit I was keeping an ear cocked for the sound of crumbling dirt !!!!

We wandered through the via , peering over the rims of stone fences and into windows to find nothing.. ...... sheer drops and clear sky .........where the gardens and buildings had just fallen off as the edge crumbles.
