But just like mountains, the memory of suffering fades and only the beauty, satisfaction and pride remain. There are many more mountains out there. So I will go back. I’m already spinning indoors during the dark of early November evenings. It’s just a question of when - and which event. Stay tuned.

To say the last few days have been a cornucopia of new sights and sounds would be exactly right. We leave the apt. in the morning and return late into the evening. Our eyes are filled with color and motion, ears are numbed by the cacophony of noises. The first I love; the second, I can get to be overwhelming. The Mediterranean is beautiful. The hotel is closed for the season, but stayed open for our group. I think Trek must spend a lot of money here to have that kind of pull! Tomorrow we can either ride ...

... assistant discovered this when the couple behind passed through security. "No sir, you can't bring a bottle of wine in your hand luggage, even though you have nicely packaged up all your toiletries in a clear plastic bag. That's it, blog over and what an experience it was. Just remember that Girona is a lovely, expensive, rude, determined, delightful, plain and different place. If you can make your mind up and go after that ridiculous summary of words - good on you. Over and ...

... her to shut up when asking for cookies. Going back to the funny location story, oh did I say it was funny, maybe you had to be there, but it was straight opposite the place we went for breakfast without knowing, we had completed a circle. Walking around the city in sunshine was tough, really really tough, yes, it's tough being on holiday. So we went for a swim in the hotel's roof top swimming pool, enough said. After as welcoming shower, we headed back in with tired legs to ...
