... we had a great coastal walk, in search of la Vierge sur le rocher. We stopped at a café for hot drinks and directions. In addition to the directions, the owners offered us crêpes to share-we got to try their caramel, sugar, nutella and chocolate crêpes. Sweet! :) We had dinner on the way back to the hotel. ... way before the final climb. At the entrance to the square, which was through an old arch, was the tourist information office, who provided us with a map of the old town. Then just inside the archway was a nice bar, ready to provide us with a morning coffee.

The view across the fields and marshes was limited, but we did see a number of moorhen, rabbits and a couple of herons as we walked over to the service area for the loo. ... had just finished with Hawaii's Coco Ho making it to the semis. We got to watch Bede surf his 3rd round heat at a spot called Le Penon, about 3km from Hossegor.
