Tempers, slightly frayed

We both emerge into the pouring rain to unhitch the trailer, push it out of the way, so, I can turn the van around in what seems like a ten point turn. Then re-hitch the trailer, and drive back to the point where we went wrong.

... had just finished with Hawaii's Coco Ho making it to the semis. We got to watch Bede surf his 3rd round heat at a spot called Le Penon, about 3km from Hossegor. The sandy beaches of this area stretch from Biarritz to Bordeaux. that's 250km of sandy coastline!!!!!! AMAZING and truly beautiful!! ... be locked, so we were unable to look around any of the insides. Lunch consisted of a visit to a bar where they had cold buffet laid out over the entire counter, this seems to be the norm as we noticed in virtually every bar we passed. The staff didn't speak any english and our spanish was zero but between us all we managed to get fed and watered. We then spent the next couple of hours wondering around soaking up the atmosphere. ... the salmon with the most delicious lemony butter on the rice. For dessert, Minh-Yen opted for the crème brulée while Anoop and I chose the chocolate cake with vanilla sauce and ice cream. It was all delicious and we were really glad we had chosen that restaurant.
