... and you can see that everything is geared towards tourists. Nice's coastline was populated by the royal British families who bought their vacation houses there. Must be 'nice' to be rich. We climbed to the Chateau De Nice and from there you get some panoramic views of the city. It was evening and we both felt a bit tired and decided to just go back to Mougins after a while.

We purchased our carnival tickets for that same night and then got some gelato from Place Massena and people watched at the Promenade des Anglais. This area is a rocky beach front, with a large American flag proudly flowing in the air next to the French and European Union flags. ... forecast, to Monte Carlo. Up a steep hill.....brilliant views. Found Casino Royale and Simon parked our car outside, see picture. Took the pictures, James B not there today. Thought there would be shops open further on but wondered on further and decided no shops on Sundays. Keep forgetting to mention about the dogs here.
