We set out from Tirano this morning to head south. The plan was to get to Genoa or Savona - but we had to tackle the Autostrada through Milan first. Sorry to say, no photo's today. They are the narrowest roads for a 2 lane road I have ever seen, each time we headed towards a bend in the road the bus driver would sit on his horn to warn traffic that we were coming, a few times the cars had to stop and reverse back so we could get through. A very interesting ride to say the least ...

Today we explore our surroundings. Woke up as normal...8.30am (which is becoming a habit that we will need to break when we return) and to the breakfast buffet it is. The buffet is good but not as good as our Sardinian breakfast at Capo d'orso. Off to the station and we make our way to Santa Margarita (a station before Camogli). It takes us about 20 minutes to arrive and we are on a bus to Portofino. A short bus trip and we arrive at this ...
