We found ourselves in Genoa today. We did a hop on hop off double decker bus ride. We found out this is where Christopher Columbus is from and saw many monuments for him and his house!
Sophie saw something that she thought she might take up as a living: at a busy intersection on red lights a guy came out and did an amazing juggling act with battons then ran up to all the cars with a hat for €! Would be ok if she could juggle!?!

One couple from Coquitlam, a guy from England and another guy from Boston. I invited them all to join us to watch the sunset at a higher view point. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the opening scenes are of Michael Cane and Steve Martin in the train heading for Beaumont Su Mer and Michael heads off Steve by suggesting he go to Portofino instead, the train they were on is exactly the same as the one we came home on this afternoon, we had quite a giggle and of course the obligatory photo, I am sure the girl who was in the cabin with us thought we were a bit odd.
