After a cozy night in our trulli, Tim, Chris and I got up as instructed to meet Mom and Dad for breakfast a few minutes before 9 am. Strangely, their trulli, across a small courtyard from ours, was still dark several minutes after 9. Finally I went over and knocked on the door... and the lazy bones were still in bed! We have certainly been lucky with all the places we have stayed and generally all the places we have ...

Woke to blue sky and warmer than previous day thank goodness. Was nice to be able to experience Matera with blue sky after our previous cold cloudy day. Was time to pack up, farewell Agli Archi accommodation and also farewell the Youngs as they headed up the other coast towards Salerno and we went in the opposite direction towards Alberobello. As we only had a relatively short drive on this day we were able to spend a ...

... Story 2. After about 3 hours, my roommates still weren't back and on top of my stomach ache, I was starting to get really hungry, and call me crazy, but I wasn't in the mood for the beer in the fridge or the fries in the freezer. I was in my PJ's (it was 4PM), and I put on a brave face and went on a trek for some soup. So I was bra-less, make-up-less, had my rain boots (it wasn't raining...for once) tucked into my pretty purple floral PJ pants, and put ...
