... the last island i visit. Its only a 10 minute ferry ride. The moment you step off the ferry all you smell is sulphur gas. My visit to Vulcano island is to climb to the top of the volcano. Takes just under an hour, and it is tough going in parts. The views are worth the pain and sweat. The little village is pretty cool, and has a very relaxed atmosphere. By the end of the day you dont notice the sulphur gas smell any more.

Well I have been very behind on my posts! But I went on the school trip to Capri, Sorrento, Naples and Pompeii It was one of the best trips I have been on! I loved everything we got to see and do, the first day we went and saw mount Vesuvius, amazing! Then we left and went to Sorrento, it was so beautiful and i was so glad to see the ocean again! We got to stay at the Central hotel, it was very nice so if you ever go to Sorento you should stay ...

Have to get him back before the end of the cruise. Positano was lovely absolutely gorgeous we walked down to the beach on the black sand this time and strolled back up. Just ...

The train ride from Palermo to Milazzo was comfortable and delicious, with our picnic gleaned from the Mercato di Ballaro. Upon arrival at the Milazzo train station we transferred to a local bus for a ten minute ride to the ferry terminal. We arrived in Lipari after about an hour hydrofoil trip and were greeted at the dock by the Italian husband of our South African hostess, Diana Brown.

After settling into our room, ...

So now we are taking the usticha ferry back to milazzo. We had wanted to go to filicudi Island, however, we couldn't seem to get any accomodation there. It's a very small place so everything shuts down fairly early at end of season. We were at the hotel tseosorios for 3 days. It seed to get hotter and hotter. I reckon it's about 37 degrees today. We have two ...
