    ... hadn't realised when we stopped in Bellinzona last night that it is a Unesco World Heritage listed site, as it has 3 magnificent castles built in the 13th, 14th & 15th centuries and surrounded by a high city wall, and then surprisingly the weekend was also Unesco 'open house' weekend, so all buildings were open and free to the public.

    ... mains and we had 2 different types of pasta, I had Salmon in mine and Briony had tomato, chilli, bacon and onion. Both were full of flavour and unbelievably tasty. The 1 litre carafe of wine that went with our food was just a cherry on top.
