In discussion with others, it is clear that you are always “guided” to the toll motorways, we proposed to test this out today on a leg where there was a good alternative N road with scenic properties.
Tom Tom was set to use toll roads and we would do the alternative navigation as required. All went well until the N1083 which we were manually following just disappeared at the roundabout and even more amazingly, we suddenly found ourselves at the toll plaza.
