Yes, today was our much planned on and deliberated upon free day - thus the melodramatic title. A few of us decided to go to Valetta. I hadn't seen the CoCathedral of St. John, and more importantly, the Caravaggio paintings, so after the bus stop - those public buses are something else! - that was the first place I went. ... to be spending a good long time in the water. When I climbed out I had goosebumps and numb fingertips, but it was totally worth it. The ride back to Sliema wasn't nearly as fun, though, since everyone was slightly damp and it was 2 euros for a cup of tea. Yes, I still had the tea. And no, I hadn't watched the Mentalist at the time - I just like tea. Now I like it even more since I've developed a mild addiction to the show. :)
