... quiet and the decorations sadly bedraggled. We found a warm cup of tea and steaming lattes and wandered through unique art galleries and shops that were all dressed up for the fall fair. Some intrepid artists were braving the wintery winds to display their paintings outside and we were impressed with their tenacity and artistic abilities. Dinner at the Micro brasserie was delicious with tasting of the ...

We drove for 3 hours the first day of our trip, occasionally glancing at each other and smiling and laughing and high fiving. We traveled down the St. Lawrence and saw the Montmorency Falls on the way. We saw our first marine mammal, a harbor seal today with hopes of many more tomorrow. We saw several large ships and a ferry but not many other boats. We arrived here about 4:45 PM. It's a small marina with rock breakwaters. We had a quick rain shower after we arrive with a ...

... road is fine. Stopped for a sandwich in St-Fidèle and later in La Malbaie which was a good decision because the sky looked very dark and when I stepped out of the supermarket it started raining. Thanks to smartphone and mobile internet I figured this would take a good half our to pass. Shelter in front of the supermarket while eating, very effficient. More climbing was waiting for me after lunch. Roads still wet but my bike rack kept my back dry at least. The wind was not as bad as ...
