In Duclair today, I toured the Saint-Wandrille abbey. No one was allowed to go inside, for fear of disturbing the nuns. Abbeys always worried me. So quiet. After we(it's not a private cruise)toured some abbey ruins, without the nuns, so I could breathe without freaking ...

France day 8

Okay, poo it! Be gone with the budget! I just arrived at the cruise docking station and the taxi cost me €289.58! Oh well, the cruise is seven days, so I think I'll just relax; no more jumping around from place to place! The cruise cost €1324.65 and begins in Honfleur, France. ... serving a large plate of mussels for 10A$. 1/2 litre of red wine to wash it down with and all is good again. The studio we booked in for a week is really hard to take. Tres Frenchy, tres chic - Gorgeous! Warm as toast and perfect location. 400 m to the heart of town. And all that for only A$ 300 a week. After a quick exploration of the town we did some shopping because tomorrow is Sunday and we're not sure yet what will be ...
