... to get the pick up but I'm good at getting spot on the buoy, practice from our Iolanthe in Poole Harbour by the ferry terminal!! It was stressful but deed done. We woke up in daylight to jagged cliffs, not many buoys but one further in would have been worse. A sail round the island showed a desolate place, a large empty rock! Onto St Martin the next day. Dolphins jumped round us, the first in a long time, also a sailfish showed its electric blue colours across our bow. Great ...

... on our last day which happened to be St Martin. It was a beautiful sunny day and the weather was perfect for one more last day lazing on a beach. We decided to stay on the Dutch side of the Island (and thankful that we made that decision because it rained all day on the French side apparently), not that you would have known that from looking out your porthole!

We found a bar on the beach that were serving up lounge chairs and buckets of beer. Let's just say ...

And in the morning we had an amazing close-up of a British Navy ship that seemed to be celebrating as all officers were in their dress uniforms and the ship was decorated with several flags and banners all flying in the island breeze.
