      ... trail led us back out to the road which we followed for a short time before spotting another trail that we decided to follow (still hoping to find our original planned trail). This led us up a mountain along a gravel path. About half-way up the trail we saw a sign for mountain biking - ah ha, this is why the path's are gravel!       Wow what a day. It began with Katie and I having a 2 hour walk up to the lighthouse...this took us along the waterfront through the old town into the newer parts....I love this time of the morning the soft colours make every site a picture worth taking.       ... a delightful dinner of crepe pizzas, another example of the Italian influence here. Clare has a lovely vegetable version, mine is mushroom, bacon, onion and cream, wrapped as a parcel. Delicious, followed by a peach sorbet with cider and cream for dessert; amazing! There are some scales in our unit...will I or wont I?       ... to get the perfect picture of the fish. Sadly most of the time the fish was to busy swimming about and didn't seem to care that we wanted a photo of them.
      It is hard to walk anywhere around Monaco without stumbling upon the famous F1 track, a lot of the rumble strips stay all year round. We walked through the tunnel and up to the sequence of corners that lead into it and come across a line of 10 cars waiting for a traffic light, 3 of these were Ferrari's!
