We were woken up early because it was Christmas morning. I went upstairs and saw what I had in my stocking. I got some lip balm, a scarf, a Starbucks card and some chocolates. Then after breakfast we went to open our other gifts, I got a magazine subscription, a hair straightener, a pandora bead and an iTunes voucher. Then I went on a walk with Mum ...

... passed the scene of a fatal accident which had taken place only 2 hours before. A truck had gone right through the barrier and over the edge. Horrible. Jake is doing great though and the only problem we encountered along the way was having to beep at a lady who nearly pulled out into us (might have had something to do with the little dog she had on her lap whilst driving!!!!). ...

... they had had with all the off-roading. But no, it meant that we were greeted with a fully flat tyre this morning. It was a good job it happened in a main town and it was a good job Joss noticed we had a space-saving spare under the back of the car because John couldn't see one in the boot or under the extra folding seats in the back.

The tyre was changed by 8.45am and we were on the road just after nine. First stop Shell, second stop JP Tires. The Tire shop, full of ...
