      ... not moving for some time, I turned the car off, and we sat. All in all, it took us 2 hours to cover those 9 miles. After finally clearing the traffic, we covered the last hour into Denver only to come to our exit to find it closed for construction. We detoured around and arrived at Lysa and Adam's just after 9.       ... decided on spending some time in the morning at the 16th Street Mall. So, we all piled in two cars and headed to downtown. Greg dropped us off near Larimer St so dad didn't have to walk as far and then parked in an underground parking area. The others found a meter nearby.       ... we drove west from the visitor center, we saw several more elk. They are so majestic! I could watch them for hours. We stopped again at the summit and the highlight there was watching the picas. We didn't see them at first and were watching some marmots.
