... decided on spending some time in the morning at the 16th Street Mall. So, we all piled in two cars and headed to downtown. Greg dropped us off near Larimer St so dad didn't have to walk as far and then parked in an underground parking area. The others found a meter nearby. While waiting for everyone to meet up, we took advantage of the time by taking lots of pictures of Larimer Street. I always love coming here and seeing what ...

... we drove west from the visitor center, we saw several more elk. They are so majestic! I could watch them for hours. So. There you go. The 2nd USA Pro Challenge (or Pro Cycling Challenge, or Tour of Colorado, or whatever it'll be called next year) is in the bag. We got to see starts, finishes, sprints, KOMs and feed zones. We met riders and behind-the-scenes folks. We camped, we ran, we waited, we hunkered, we painted. And we cheered. Oh, did we cheer.

And we'll be back next year.

... was given a color packet and you are supposed to pop them at the color party.

I did the race with Jen and Roger, both of whom I know from working at Niketown Denver. Both are very fit and sporty but we all knew that this run was supposed to be fun, not a let's see how fast we can run race. We still did it in 31 minutes anyway.

All of the money raised goes to the Children's Hospital here in Denver. Honestly, the run was ...
