My last two days in Tenerife

... Lettuce, Cucumber, Green Peppers and Honey Mustard. The sandwich might as well have been shipped from the US, but I didn't care! After that I went to a local store to pick up a few souvenirs (including my own Spanish iPhone case!), and then after picking up a few more friends, we headed down to the beach! As cheesy as it may sound, today actually was in fact the most perfect day to go to the beach; it was sunny, warm, and there was no wind to carry the sand into our eyes. I got ...

    Gynecology

... Laguna, the doctors were very concerned about the baby's development, but they induced her labor (for reasons I don't really know the details of). She ended up having the baby at 26 weeks--last Friday--and now she's recovering on the unit. As much as I want to go home to see my girlfriend, family and dogs, I can't help but loathe the idea of leaving this place. ... countries growl and rasp the bass tones. Meanwhile I somehow manage to say my "thank you, please, sorry, hello, etc. in any other language than whoever it is I am addressing. The bars and cafes are tourist orientated, it is indeed a tourist place and the attraction is the perfect climate, good swimming or surfing, ample restraunts and bars together with warmish sea for this time of the year. For people enjoying their holidays or early retirement it could ...

    Week3---WEEKEND---week4

... close that any misplaced steps would have killed us--which gave us the birds-eye view of the entire canyon and mountain range. It felt like we were in Heaven or on Mount Olympus or something. The hike was scheduled to last about 2.5-3 hours, but apparently we were running later than normal, so the bus had to come pick us up about halfway through. It was a pretty tough climb up the mountain, so none of us were against the bus coming to get us. Plus, we got to hang out in this ...
