    ... begins with George Washington and follows history over time. This library features the First Ladies as well as the Presidents. Dolls dressed as replicas of the gowns worn to the inaugural balls and the collection of Presidential documents and artifacts were very interesting.

    Jim ended the evening relaxing with Rudy and a can of Lone Star beer as we waited for another thunderstorm to pass. Jim has logged over 2200 miles and we will finally leave Texas ...

    ... the movie... Also did some creative staging - theres the grand show within a show, a ballet featuring the actor playing the conductor opposite the real conductor so the stage looks like a mirror. The dance choreography looked like it was meant for both the real audience and the imaginary one in the story. Bravo! After the show, a late night pasta dinner with our friends at Becco.     Drove to Midland, Tx. And stopped for the night. Very boring. I still hate Texas. Midland, boyhood home of George W. Bush. Before we left Bossier, we stopped at Southern Maid Donuts.     ... Stillness not overrated for sleeping. On ship TV played the first season of Game of Thrones and I watched them all. Still not fond of Ned's Death scene. So Monday everyone just hung out at the bar all day and then we went to the Captains reception. Hilarity ensued and had trouble not laughing too much. The Captain has a theme song they play when he walks in... like Hail to the Chief but with dramatic sailing ...
