I keep remembering these funny things that have happened so I feel, I should blog them so even we don't forget.
The other night in Memphis when we were at the cafe having dinner, the young black girl was talking to Deano about where he was from. She wanted him to teach her to say something in Australian. He told her to say G'day Mate.. It sounded so funny.. Then she asked him what she had just said and what it meant. It was hilarious ....
... We got a dog and brat and a cookie to go. Went to the park downtown at the marina and at ate and watched the guys fish. In fact they were catching fish about 18" and more than 5 lbs. and this was in an inlet from the lake.
After some food fortification we hit a few more antique stores and then headed toward home. We noticed this morning there was a Moose lodge on our way home but we were ready for our warm motor home so we didn't ...
... the hugging session we made our way to the ball game to watch Milwaukee Brewers vs Huston Astros. This seems to be the biggest ticket in town we paid $9 for ours. Saw a couple of home runs and a few other runs hit. We left after 7th innings and headed to the Harley Davidson museum. Wasn't bad considering it had the word museum in it. Sis headed back to Chicago, after some more hugs, was great catching up and seeing lil sis :-) ...
