    Ok, we got to Phoenix yesterday about 2:00...had a late lunch at a Carribean restaurant (jerk chicken and garlic mashed potatoes for Melody) then checked into our hotel to try and sleep until we had to go to the airport for a 1:30 am flight. Irene slept just fine but I got about an hour and a half. Then we checked into our flight (first class is a wonderful thing!) Now we're in Miami waiting to go to Panama ...

    ... in Newark 17:58pm (just 30 minutes behind schedule) and hastily made our way to terminal B gate C103 to board UA 3897 with boarding closing at 18:06pm only to find the flight delayed till 20:47pm. Getting very tired as we wait here at Newark, appears to be raining outside. Now at 20:20pm they have announced the flight has been cancelled so it doesn't look like we will get there tonight, now waiting in customer nil service queue. Met a nice guy (Owen Franken) ...
