... in a radically different part of the world. This past semester I completed a World Religions class to prepare for the trip, and learned about many different religions including Buddhism, which is very prevalent in South East Asia, namely Theravada Buddhism.
I hope to learn a lot.

Rain is on tap for the next couple of days, which isn’t necessarily the worst thing (we are afterall now in the Pacific NW). We have some waterfalls we want to go to along the Columbia River Gorge, and that might make the hikes a little sloppy.
