We did visit LBJ's childhood home once, but didn't even know that Johnson City had a downtown. They have a square and everything! We left Fort Stockton this morning about 9:30. ...

... by keeping the back of my cooling vest cool. I hope I have pictures of the soggy travellers to share later. I think the hotel staff thought we were totally nuts as most of the group were wet when we arrived. They have been stuffing bags of ice in their shirts to keep them cool and sucking on the ice cubes as they ride. The big wet spots around their ****** area where all ...

... lakes in Texas and the water is very clear and emerald green in color. Travis is a fun lake because there is plenty to see and do including Hippie Hollow Park which is the only clothing optional public park in Texas and it is very popular for nude sunbathing and swimming - so cover the kids eyes as you boat by and leave the binoculars at home!

Dinner was at a local hang-out called true Grit. This was a real true back hills restaurant. Food was ...
