... the minister's name "Dr. Starr Bowen" and while we were driving around on Wednesday, we saw his name on the First UMC in Gordon, TX. Of course we thought, "Starr, another female minister." We sure were wrong and if we had not been introduced to him, I never would have picked him out as a minister, other than he wears a clerical collar. The members really like him, he has been there 12 years!

Today our tour circle turned into a lasso meaning we started at the campground then drove south on 281 to Stephenville where we turned west as far as Comanche before we headed back east to Hamilton and then north on 281 back to the campground. Originally we had planned to include Glen Rose (dinosaurs) and Granbury but being fluid, we changed our minds and spent more time in other towns.

... to Santo. Not sure why this campground's address is Santo since that town is 7 miles away. Santo is a very small town as is evidenced by the one street downtown area. It also has 3 churches and a school, not sure how many grades. We did see the marching band practicing.

... me yawn right now! We’re setting up on a parking lot in Glen Rose which is nice for not getting dirt and mud in the house, but less than stellar for the animals. No grass grazing for them, but they get plenty of food and water to get them through. The tent has to be tethered to semis to hold it up since they can’t drive stakes into the ground.
