This morning was a very sleepy jump. I have no idea why neither of us got good sleep, but we didn't and it took two cups of coffee and some sugary pastries from the cookhouse to get us moving. The drive was a little over 2 hours which was 1.5 hours too much for this sleepy gal. It’s really nice to have company while driving though because our conversations keep us both awake. ... of 2,000 on a weekend might be almost impossible. What we found was… people here are friendly and will go out of their way to help. The one notary that was within 30 miles of our campground was at home, but he was happy to meet us. So we met the friendly, more than helpful,notary at the Exxon gas station about mile from our campground. We would never have dreamed!!!

... so it only costs us $15 dollars for the night.

It should be good sleeping weather tonight since it has been cloudy and rainy all day. I looked at the extended forecast for the Lubbock area and Thursday night is may get down into the high 30s.

The trip tomorrow is a little over 200 miles and with a couple of stops, it will probably be 4pm before we get there. Hopefully it won't be rainy tomorrow. Until ...
