    ... humid) and we were on the way to Destin which was halfway between Clearwater and New Orleans. It was a 6 hour drive so I wasn't particularly looking forward to it... Clearwater was a great stop, it was fun having the dog and good company in the apartment and the beach was ok. It probably was a bit too touristy for me. A lot of billboards and signs and American chavs possibly. The sea was lovely but the apartment made up for it and at least we got to visit the restaurant ...

    ... We’ve since decided she has a VERY HIGH tolerance for pain thus the walking around with appendicitis for days and then a ruptured appendix for a few more days. Well, she spent 5 days in the hospital with a drain tube, massive antibiotics, extreme discomfort and a very loving/devoted husband and daughter and is well on her way to recovery I’m glad to say!!     ... Mama, which we both got, in the souvenir Fish Bowl. It was Ok, I think that was the only one for those I ordered.
    Got our passes for the Spa for the duration. only thing they were missing in the Spa was the heated stone loungers, but we survived without them.
