    ... We arrived there about 4pm after our drive across the state line. Thinking we weren't in much of a shopping mood, we managed to get kicked out after the shops shut, to finally find our way to the hotel.     ... rd Monday- I didn’t sleep much last night and up early this morning. Watered all th e plants, inside, patios, back and front yards—I like doing that! Hung around the house the rest of the day, doing whatever!! Sharon called and they are at Vancouver WA and will stop for supper and then come on home. They arrived late and had a great time on Vashon Island off of Wash coast near Tacoma.

    ... from overnights without permits, and they are just too hard to get with all the regulations. There are deer everywhere—they killed a lot last year but they are thick and into everything. A drink and Suzie and I were ready for bed. Bud went to his place and we were OUT! It is sooo dark out and soooo quiet!
