La Quinta Inn and Suites Raleigh Crabtree

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Bathroom was spotless. Bed was very comfortable in King size room and although the hotel is situated in a rather high traffic zone, room was quiet. Breakfast bar was good but crowded and there really wasn't adequate seating during the week. Business people tend to monopolize the space. We will definately be revisting this hotel in the future. Great location right by the mall.

We loved this hotel! It is bright and cheerful inside. The layout of the rooms are spacious and unique for a hotel room. The in-room refigerator was very convienant. The beds are comfortable. The service is great. The waffles in the morning were tasty - among other choices for breakfast. There is an outdoor pool and kids and families were using it to cool off in the hot July weather. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The price was a great value. It is right next to a mall and easy access to the city as well as the interstates. Note: Mapquest indicated that the hotel is off of Arrow Rd from the I-70 (Glenwood). The road you turn onto from Glenwood is actually Blue Ridge and it is just north of the I-440. Then you turn left onto Summit and it is right by a couple of other hotels. This was a bit confusing at first.

I made reservations for a king-sized room (king size bed, refrigerator, microwave) at least a month ahead of my stay at this hotel. It was with Expedia so everything was prepaid ($60/night plus tax). When I arrived at the hotel at around 3PM no king-sized rooms were available. They had my reservation in the computer, so it wasn't as if they lost the information. Once I showed the front desk clerk a copy of my reservation, two king sized rooms became available. (strange, the way that happened). I chose a room with a pool view. The room was lovely (large bathroom, clean, recliner, pretty soft sheets) EXCEPT there was a large water stain on the ceiling. The paint was peeling off the ceiling and it made the room smell a little musty. Because the weather was beautiful I left the window open and the smell didn't bother me. I was bothered by the people who partied and smoked at the poolside until midnight or later. FYI: the refrigerator doesn't have a freezer compartment, and the hotel is difficult to find. Make a left on Blue Ridge Road (the first road you come to after exiting the beltway). Stay in the left lane on Blue Ridge Road and then make a left up the hill onto Summit (?) Road. Crabtree Valley Mall is across the street. Yes, I'd stay at this hotel again (with a copy of my reservation in my hand).

Booked the hotel on the internet--must've been a typo because the price was about $30/day cheaper than Priceline, Hotwire, etc. Unbelievable price for such a nice hotel! Rooms were clean, well decorated with a nice, free continental breakfast! Only disappointment was that their website had a picture of an indoor pool which was not located at that address (it was actually located at the Durham site instead). Beautiful shopping mall was just a walk across the street. I would definitely stay there again!

I got a great rate for this hotel on the internet, and was pleasantly surprised to see how nice this place was, considering the price I paid. Check-in was quick and easy, even though we arrived before check-in time. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The hotel is well kept and very pleasant. The continental breakfast offered a variety of choices, including waffles! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Raleigh.

Just returned from a 4 night stay in February. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The prices are great also.

The hotel is very close to the Crabtree Mall, where they have several good restaurants, and lots of shopping. It's an easy drive into downtown Raleigh and to the airport.

Very clean, affordable, friendly staff, good location, safe enviroment, will stay here again in future.

I chanced up on this lovely hotel earlier this year and recommend it highly. Great location, easy access to highways, main areas, mall, restaurants, etc. Immaculate room smelled like a brand-new baby doll on Christmas day! Fitness room was quite workable and the Staff provided genuine service. I'll be back soon!!!

This hotel was great! Very very clean, comfortable room. Staff is very helpful and the housekeeping staff does a great job. The pool area is very pretty and it is an all around nice place to stay. Close to Crabtree Valley mall, 10 minutes from the NC State stadium, RBC Center, and State Fairgrounds. If you have to go to Raleigh, this is the place to stay!

We arrived very late for a one-night stay to find our requested non-smoking room was unavailable, even though I had called earlier to inform them of our late arrival. (They said there had been some kind of electrical problem in some rooms or something to that effect.) My husband was very upset and they did everything they could to accomodate us - they called around to other hotels and ended up upgrading us to a suite (the smoke smell was not too offensive) and discounted our stay. The room was great, the continental breakfast excellent (the best fruit salad I have ever had!), and the pool area is so attractive and cozy, with a gazebo and very nice landscaping. Even the exterior has an appealing Southwestern feel. They have excellent rates and are even pet friendly. This is a no brainer when in Raleigh!
