    ... shower/bathroom and a separate Toto washlet toilet. We go to the 7/11 on the corner to get some basics like coffee, milk, croissants for tomorrow's breakfast and a couple of delicious egg salad sandwiches for tonight's dinner.     ... writing this, they have "un-delayed" by almost a half hour and delayed it again, now by almost two hours from the original take-off time. I think this ebb and flow is going to be the norm for the next few weeks. It's about the journey, not the destination, right? .That said, it would be nice to get to one of the destinations first.


    P.S., Just before posting this, we got another delay/un-delay ...

    ... yet they had 6 rangers on site offering free personal tours of the modest eight bed accommodation and were planning a $30k renovation of the icehouse - a tiny rotting log shed with a sod roof. The national parks must still have some cash! They did have an extremely cool buffalo coat to try on, the original rancher guys one. It was massive and steaming hot, perfect for the winters up here.

    ... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice. Then we drove to a park with lots of Christmas lights and walked around in the cold looking at all the pretty lights.
