    ... But we were home. Safe on the ground and ready to be in our own house, snuggling on the couch with Amelia who we missed dearly. 3500+ nm, 28 flight hours in 10 flights, over 2 weeks, with barely a single unexpected circumstance.     Riding around in Willy's fully restored 1929 Model A Ford.
    Motor and transmission is all original. 3 speed box with manual overdrive.
    Does 43 mph (70 kph) cruising down the highway.
    Willy has owned this car for 50 years......

    ... Managed to get my required purchases and then walked back to the hotel through a thunderstorm (cue giddiness).

    Dinner was a small affair -jetlag really screws with my appetite - and then to bed at 8.30pm which is a bit more like it.

    This update is finally being posted at 4am which is a marked improvement on 2.30am of yesterday.

    Meeting up with the rest of the crew tonight, and Sunday is looking good as a first chase day ...
