... short answer. The long answer follows, as this is our last blog of the trip.
I must admit, I didn't really get Vancouver. People have been telling me for ages it's a great city. It is growing apace, with its population increasing by 3,000 a month now. This may be part of the problem. There is a lot of rough-sleeping and begging on the streets. The road our hotel is situated on was described as "lively" by the hotel desk clerk. Yesterday we went to the Vancouver Aquarium. I was really upset in ...

A travel blog entry by pclevel on May 20, 2014

Picked up from the Fairmont Hotel and began the coach ride to Kelowna. The coach arrived and it was a full large coach with six passengers. 4 kiwis and us 2 Aussies. First stop was Fort Langley a replica of the original landing place and the birthplace of British Columbia. It told the history of the originals of BC and how the trading stores with the animal hunters, originals and traders worked. There was ...

Notre 1er hiver à Winnipeg fut pénible!! Chance ou malchance? Chance!
