      ... a little to old and un-hip to 'get' it, but it just didn't really sing to us. We did have time for tea though - Chelle had mussels with black bean sauce (an odd pairing but surprisingly tasty) and I had a Canadian staple: poutine, essentially chips and gravy with a melty, mozzarella-style cheese topping and a serving of pulled pork in yet more gravy piled on top.       ... and managed to stay dry even tho we were sitting on the splash zone. Caught another couple of buses to granville island and had lunch accompanied by beer tasting at the granville island brewery.       ... Brilliant. A quick flick of the settings and the food was cooked in no time. After finally eating we headed off into downtown Vancouver to see what all the fuss was about. Without knowing what we were actually looking for, and standing around like typical confused tourists with a large map making up for our lack of direction, a local stopped to offer some help.       ... the people on scooters and bikes meandering down the freeway!! Yikes!! Got to the airport and couldn't find the check in counter.....wrong terminal!! Thankfully I had plenty of time and was able to walk over to the other terminal as they have a walkway! Flight was uneventful other than the snorting...coughing....sneezing.....hac king and the lady next to me who kept falling ...
