      ... set out. We spent an hour or so looking over the many items associated with this phase of WW2 that are to be found in the museum which once housed the operations centre of this historic airfield. The old control tower is also still there as are some of the buildings and bunkers
      involved with the fine tuning of “Fat Man” and “Little Boy”, the two megaton nuclear bombs that resulted in huge carnage amongst the population of those two Japanese cities ...
