    Exploring New York City

    ... pleasant to walk. We head back towards Time Square to the hotel and relax before starting to pack. Bags are at overflow and are still subject to 50 lb limits. So have to do a lot of juggling about. Its our last night in New York tonight.
    So enjoy a last walk down through Time Square which has lost its novelty now although you can pick out the new ads on the LCD screens easily. Being America the next one is bigger and brighter than the last.

    ... After the storm seemed to settle and the sun began to appear, Mom and I ventured out to see what was open for lunch. We tried to find the nearest Applebee's and found the mall instead.     ... night and the Met was open till 9pm so off I headed. Always a bit nervous at these things when they tell you that the queues are horrendous and the crows stifling. Well, go on Sat night I say as I walked straight up for a ticket and even had times in rooms on my own!
