It was on this night that I discovered the joys of $1 Oysters in the LES restaurant district. So amazingly fresh and big - like our pacifics. The only bad thing was that I discovered them so late in my stay. A few beverages and a dozen Oysters later I happily strolled home.
Turns out a few friends are over from London this week for CMJ - a week long showcase for new bands...100 venues across Manhattan and Brooklyn and a 1000 bands. So I spent my day hanging out with them, the bands they manage and watched a few gigs in some great little venues on the East Side.
