After enjoying another sleep-in (9.30am) this morning, my body clock has just about synchronised with the local time zone.

The kids couldn't walk past 'The Pleasure Pier' without convincing the grandparents that it would be fun to try the rides, so in we went and the kids (and Mase) went on some stomach churning rides, including a rollercoaster which was the ride of the day.

... dark green clouds engulfed the airport. Scribbles of lightning filled the sky and rain blurred the awaiting airplanes. Incoming flights were diverted and outbound were put on hold. We waited until 9:00 pm to pull away from the terminal. We arrived in Quito at 2:00 am. As we were nearly the last off the plane, we were the last through immigration...our luggage chose to stay in Houston. We arrived at our hotel at 3:15 am...our bags would follow the next night.
