I tried the local beer called Ambria which reminded me of a chocolate beer and was nice. We finished up after many hugs with Barbara at 9.15 pm and arrived back thereafter. It was lively evening, something that we both will think fondly of. It's the first day of Fall today. Taking night drugs, thinking laryngitis might be on the ...

... 14, 2008 when Hurricane Ike sweep over the island with a surge of over four feet. That wiped out most of the campground, killed of most wildlife, leaving no gators to be found here for some three years. The storm proved the most costly for Texas so far.
If you didn't know about Ike you would have a hard time believing anything like that ever happened today.
