We ordered 4 huge meals and shared between the four of us!! We don't think we could eat at another BBQ place again that is how good it was!! After this we drove to a town in the middle of no where (3 hours east of Denver) on I-70 West in Kansas State next to a town called Kanarado (we loved this name) and got a hotel to get some shut ...

... the hotel, we checked-in to the next and found an amazing noodle bar, a chain restaurant that sold every type of noodle from mac and cheese, pasta to Thai dishes. I had quite the lunch. We had a drive around and were surprised how there didn't ...

Of course no trip south on Highway 13 is complete without a stop at the Osceola Cheese Store. That place is ALWAYS crowded, no doubt due to the free samples of cheese and snacks. We do our part to taste the cheese and bring out a couple for Toby as well.

Upon arrival at the Rainbow Trout Ranch we ...

We departed Des Moines, IA for Kansas City on 4-29-11. Arriving at 4:05 PM to a traffic jam. We decided to go straight to the Royals game due to the traffic. Pulled right in and parked where we tailgated until the game started. Royals ended up winning that night! We checked into the Hilton President Hotel and went to see what was happening at the Power and Light District. Raglan Road was a great time. We woke up to sun and a beautiful day and KC BBQ, Fiorella's Jack Stack. ...
