Friday we are picking up and heading out.....to Panama City, Fl. visit the grandkiddies for a few days, and then heading up to Ga. for Thanksgiving.....and then we are heading to............................until then CYA down the ...
... Anyway, that's not the point, that boast was enough to get us to sample it, and indeed it does taste creamy - I imagine somewhere along the line someone accidentally mixed up the cream soda and root beer hoses and the World's Creamiest Root Beer was born.
I could go on and on about Buc-ee's, but Bill needs a break from driving.
Before we depart Texas, here are some fun Texas factoids:
... we were very pleased to find that the nice lady at American had moved us into American's version of Economy Comfort, which meant that we had some pretty awesome legroom. Even better, Alex and I had no one in between us. An auspicious start to the trip! The 2 and a half hours passed uneventfully, and we arrived in toasty Dallas (84 degrees!) about 15 minutes early.
