We went to sleep at 3 o'clock this morning and didn't get much sleep the days before ether, so all we wanted is sleep, luckily we got a late check out time so could sleep for a couple hours. In the price of our room was a breakfast included, so I woke up at 8 to get us all some breakfast and went back to bed. We all woke up at 10:30 heated up the breakfast in our microwave and took showers. At 12 we left the room to go to the Austin Spring Pool, a 120 feet long pool filled ...

... phew!! Then... and so on!! As we were eating there was a massive downpour and lightnings outside but it had stopped by the time we had finished btw. So the conference held an opening party at this nearby bar. Me and Marcus went there as Pelle had to go back to the hotel. :/ At the bar they had free drinks and we talled to some interesting people and there were even a swede there! :D At around 10 pm we headed back to the hotel and tomorrow the exhibition continues... ...

The connecting bus stopped outside The Coffee Bean, a chain I’ve not seen since I was in Saigon last year, and so in homage to my Southeast Asia trip I stopped in for an iced chai, only to get some complimentary ice water from the poor attendant who thought I was physically melting in the heat, before arriving at my temporary home to the greeting of ‘you’re shining.’ That’s the Texas heat for you. ...
