After reducing the schematics of the fractal-cinematic of life as a
human vision of cyberpoetry and flying alongside seagulls in the wind
by the sound; riding the wind; to and fro; with and against.. I find
myself within the cyberlab to address my Doogie Howser M.D.-styled
end-of-the-day blog.

It's not that far from NYC, but it finally felt like we were out of town and on the road...
Once through the East River, you're officially in Long Island Sound, the area between Long Island and the mainland (NY proper, CT and RI--maybe a little bit MASS Lower Cape too).
On the Long Island side, there are various coves and ports every so often. About ...
... that won't excite anyone but may stick in my head or heart. Like the desk clerk at the hotel in Bremen who checked us out, but took a few minutes of her time to tell us how Denmark was her favorite country and how she and her family went there every summer when she was a little girl. And how that same desk clerk seemed delighted that I said 'tchuss' instead of goodbye to her. Or I could talk about the chocolate candies ...
New Hyde Park, New York, United States davy_gam... down the ganngplank, made a left and walk over to booths operated by local companies. Got a tour of town and the Mendenhall glacier for $20 a person as opposed to the $40 tour offered by the ship. I'll be reading up on Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen, too. Actually I might breakdown and buy the book. Your 'stand back, the moths will becoming out of that wallet pretty fast' pal, Davy
Mineola, New York, United States davy_gamHello All, Wow, only 11 hours to go. I think I have everything packed. I almost have everything settled around the house. To think, Danielle and I have been planning this trip for about 7 months now and I am up last minute trying to finish all my stuff. I guess it always works that way ...
West Hempstead, New York, United States gecklnyNew York was as good, if not better, than we expected. We only had 5 short days here but managed to cram in as much as we could including the Empire State Building, Staten Island and a few other things. New York had everything and it was a shame we didn't have longer.

The Brooklyn tour was awesome and the drinks made it, we saw lower Manhattan and how people live in Brooklyn then returning over the Brooklyn Bridge and then returned to Manhattan driving past Ground Zero and up through Greenwich Village and back to Time Sqaure to finish off the Tour. After a long day Tim and I return to our Hostel and were asleep by midnight.
New York City, New York, United States travelledkiwiLast minute preparations are underway and are proving as hectic and last minute as ever. Following a couple of months of bike purchasing procrastination, I finally got myself organized enough to acquire a tour worthy mode of transport. After denying the need for purchasing a new bike which btw is might pricey, I fell in love with the Specialized Sequoia model. The derailleurs are of great quality, the frame is light and made of enhanced butted aluminum making it ...
New York, New York, United States pshemek... Village, SoHo, Financial District and Brooklyn) sights as well as telling us a bit more about the city. For instance, did you know that New York was known as New Amsterdam until the Dutch handed it over to the British and the Duke of York named it after himself?? There you go then..! We were taken past Central Park and the Plaza hotel, up into Harlem and through all the ethnic districts and then we headed downtown where all the famous ...
New York, New York, United States rtwexplorer... covered with neon lights blinked in every available space. Televisions broadcasted ads for cars and NBC news. Stock prices panned across the sky in red. A twenty story picture of some rapper watched over the whole scene. The most interesting aspect for me was the NYPD station, which was right smack dab in the middle of Times Square. The words New York Police Department were blinking and sparkling in pink and blue neon, fitting right in with the neighbours!
