      ... blog, it was a very friendly and cohesive group. For each meal, we pretty much rotated who we sat with. The group had a tendency of starting out together, but the better bikers as expected always pulled ahead, and we'd gather again at the next rest stop, or lunch. Neither Carolyn nor I felt that the scenery on this trip could compare to last year’s Prague to Vienna bike ride. This tour saw more open areas, with less of interest to view over greater distances. ...

One flatmate took the "dud" room (as it gets exclusive use of the downstairs bathroom), female flatmate #2 took the ensuite with walk-in closet (which neither of us guys wanted, not having enough shoes to do the walk-in justice), I got my choice of the carpeted room with skylights (for warmth, and light from the sky), and GTI-owner got the grand-master-hyper room with so much room for activities.
