      Date night

It was double date night - Krista's brother wanted to go to a French restaurant so he could get Foie Gras (which is illegal in california). So, it was off to a French restaurant. Not exactly what I wanted, especially since I was about to spend 2 weeks in France.
Would have rather stayed home and eat the pizza that was ordered.

I walked out quite some distance and was getting to mid torso level the found myself on a sand bar and was around knee level a few more steps out. The water was pretty warm so it didn't take me long to immerse myself in the ocean. We spent two hours on the beach munching on granola bars, chips and apples. It ...

... game and sold 15 on this day to make a profit of $375.
      - The game was a pretty good one! The Dynamo won the game 2-1, and although my friends aren't necessarily soccer fans, they did have fun as well.
      - After the game we wander the city for a little while and admire the scenery, then go back to our car and fall asleep near the road again.

... group as a whole was a lot more laid back than we were used to in the past but the trip was designed to be a lot more laid back so it wasn't a big surprise. Even then, there was still enough people who wanted to do activities so we rarely found ourselves doing things on our own which is always more fun. We really enjoyed this group and now have more friends all across the world. For me some of the big highlights would have to be the fishing ...
