Wrapped up against the chilly windy drizzle in our sweaters and cagoules, the canopy was closed quicker than normal to keep whatever warmth there was inside! 1900ft was as high as we could go to start with, but the visibility under the cloud base was much better than anticipated.     We started our day in Fort Worth at a nature reserve. We parked up at the visitors centre and started with a 1 mile walk. We immediately came across a couple of large spiders and heaps of different coloured dragonflies. Sam wasn't keen on the walk after seeing the spiders and knowing there might be snakes around.     ... the text "tour humor" because it was of a truck ramp side view that said "slippery when whet", which just happens to be her favorite band's album name. (Bon Jovi) I thought it was pretty funny.
