A travel blog entry by 2pcgrads on Oct 13, 2014

We had a brief visit to see our daughter and her husband in Austin, TX. They moved here just a few months ago and seem to be well settled in. We did go to an Octoberfest dinner at a small German town called Walberg, just north of Georgetown where the beer and bratwurst flowed freely. It was a fun evening. We enjoyed our ...

It was an amazing experience. We took a 1.5 hour guided walking tour underground through the cave, learning about how it was discovered, what minerals line it, and which animal fossils were found. The girls did great. On our way again to Austin. We checked into the Embassy Suites and then back to ...

"Bosphorus by Boat, Slovenia by Storm"....The first question everyone is asking is "Where are these places and why did you decide to go there?" I'll try to make a long story short. For those of you who are geographically challenged like me - the Bosphorus is the strait that runs through Istanbul, Turkey. We are adventuresome (sort of) but these two areas of the world had never even come up in our discussions ...
