After visiting the library we made our way to the Ritz Carlton Hotel in downtown Dallas where we met the Tresca's. They invited us to the concierge lounge and we had a very nice conversation and snacks. From there we drove with Fred, Debbie and Clayton to the AT&T Stadium for the football game.

... built the first building there in Texas and in the early 1900's and it was used for a number of different things such as mail, doctors surgery, police department, conscience store etc. there is a white X on the floor in the road where JFK was shot, it gave me goose pimples to think he was assassinated in the spot in front of me. ... help in the airport. One testy store cashier mad because all I had was a 50 for my bottle of water. It was all the ATM would give me. She says she gets that a lot at her store. ... pounds of weight, as I'd only bought the football shirt and used some of the toiletries I'd come across with, I had to work out how to remove the excess weight. They allow 2 pieces of hand luggage on board so the woman suggested removing the heaviest clothes I had. This included my flying suit which I luckily remembered has a blade in the pocket to cut through parachute cords if you need to, so I couldn't take that on board the plane!
