... Texas, the largest honky tonk in the world. Disappointingly very commercial where you have to pay $2 entry like a tourist attraction and everything inside is geared towards photo ops. We were really hoping to get us some line dancing however the place was rather dead and after two games of pool we called it quits and returned to the comfort of the hotel and it's canapés.

We're off at 4am tomorrow morning for our flight to the Grand Canyon so it will hopefully be a somewhat early ...

... the daily special of 4 beef ribs at a slightly lower price, but I declined. Seven beef rib portions later, I felt I’d got my monies worth so stopped just before the meat sweats would kick in. After food, we walked around the historic Stockyards area a bit more and I got to ride (sit on) a real bull and then we met some cowboys. We stopped to have our photo taken with one of them. It was very exciting! They had guns and spurs on their boots and everything. The next ...

... me; I just figured everyone was on board. That calm thought was quickly shattered when I saw the screen behind the counter indicated the departure was for Des Moines! I told Leslie to stay there as I dashed another 100 feet or so down the concourse to the departure screens. I saw our flight was actually departing out of gate B17.

I told Leslie I ...
