... I explored the apartment, (nothing special but fantastic location), appreciated the great view, and got my first wonderful meal...a greek salad with smoked salmon and fresh mozzarella that was to die for!

... fortunate. 15 mins after we arrived the place was chock-a-block.

After lunch we drove to Willow Bend mall at Plano. Surprisingly, the numbers of people were nothing like I expected. Perhaps the majority were there at opening time to get the best deals and had subsequently gone home before 1:30pm to see the big college football game on TV.

Next stop was the Academy Outdoor Sports store so Sam could buy some footy boots. He has signed up to play AFL ...
