This hotel was under $70 for three of us in 2 queen beds. It was a comfortable room with all appropriate amenities, was clean and the staff were helpful. There was also the use of a pc and breakfast was included.

Today was a very enjoyable day. Load in went like any other. We had a great sized dock, so it was a smooth operation. Hot as blazes, but smooth.

The day got really interesting and cool as well around 5PM. I have a friend that lives on the St. Louis outskirts. (Past days in Korea with my old unit.) I invited her and her husband to come down to the show and I would show them around the backstage. It went ...

He yells, and out of the crack jump dozens of goblins who tie up all of the dwarves and carry off each member except Gandalf, he was forewarned by Bilbo's yell. The goblins carry ...

... the ride to the top after a brief questionnaire as to weather we had a fear of heights or claustrophobia. I have a little of both but did not plan on that getting in the way...figuring it would not be a big deal.

We were lined up to enter our pods to take us up to the top when the doors opened. Holy god, this pod was miniature. I took a few deep breaths and decided I could do it. The ride was only 4 minutes to the top...I can do this. ...

10/8/12 Drove down to St Louis and found Kirkwood, where I am staying for the next 4 nights. It's a lovely suburb and very affluent. The apartment is on the ground floor, thank goodness for that, had enough of stairs with my ankle, which by the way, is very much better although still in a brace thingy. The only down side is it is right next door to a freight train line and my goodness they are loud, but a small price to pay for such a lovely home. The host ...

The title says it all. It's too hot to go outside but we go anyway. Went to visit
Roger & Esther Willey for lunch Thursday.

Our remodeling to bring washer & dryer upstairs has been proceeding slowly.
We hope to have them up in the next few days.

Ron will need surgery on his achilles tendon, it is scheduled for 7/16. Please keep
us in your prayers.
