... I met a couple of locals. Karim is a Swedish citizen living in Amsterdam with his girlfriend Diana, from Milan who both worked for Adobe Systems. We hung around the Leidseplein drinking those great European beers and eventually moved to the Rokerij until it closed. It’s 1:30am and it was easy to walk back to the boat. Even though I was on the other side of the city all I had to do was follow the canal I was on and it dropped me off right in front of ...
Seattle, Washington, United States fec... sen buss hem.

Seattle, Washington, United States josma... much did nothing but read in the park under the Space Needle because to be honest I'd run out of things I was interested in doing. On the whole I found Seattle did not have much to interest me during the day, although I suspect if I'd stayed for a friday or saturday night the nightlife would be good. On my final night I met up with James and we went to Capitol Hill which is the gay part of Seattle. We checked out a decent bar and saw some nice women ...
Seattle, Washington, United States julesjb... out at his apartment for the night....we watched Mean Girls. Seriously.
The next day Marc and I opened up a joint checking account and then he went grocery shopping while I ran the kids to soccer practice. Ok I'm just kidding but it was a hardcore fling and we both really enjoyed ourselves ;). I took off for the big city and caught my last train to Glacier Park. Boy will that be a change of scenery! Goodbye Sluty Seattle! I mean sleepless...
Seattle, Washington, United States goldenfrog88... to be fantastic (lots of Nancy’s guitars and both of their tour outfits from the ’70s and ‘80s). We also explored the Jimi Hendrix exhibit. Well, no. Christen explored it in depth. Bri sprawled out on a ‘60s-era couch in front of a wall of Hendrix videos, and Christen laughed really hard when she rounded the corner and saw Bri because Bri looked like she was stoned, jamming out to Hendrix. (Bri wants it noted ...
Seattle, Washington, United States cgibbons18... and 1 of the first 3 presidential planes. You might be wondering how it can be one of the first 3, well when the president requires a new plane they are delivered in sets of 3, so if one breaks down another is ready. Also i found out the plane is only called Air Force One when the president is onboard, however if he is being transported by the army or the navy then there call signs are 'Army One' and 'Navy One' respectively, where as if its the vice - president the call sign is Air ...
Seattle, Washington, United States ollie2408... watched the fishermen throwing fish across the room, very entertaining. And we managed to get free, yes i repeat free tickets to watch the Seattle Mariners play Texas. Thats the baseball team. It was a really good game and Seattle won in the last innings. Im now becoming quite good at understanding all these American sports. Yesterday we went to Fremont where we watched the Red Bull Soap Box Race, never before have a seen a salmon zooming towards me, lol. It ...
Seattle, Washington, United States atollafield... Vietnamese New Year. All the buses were on the road returning people from the villages to the cities. The driver was not safe, passed as many buses as he could and it was very terrifying. Also, less life threatening but still scary was the "Devil's Throat" waterfall in Iguazu ...
Seattle, Washington, United States thetembas... of that atmosphere I can take (drunken idiocy gets old quick). I'm not 21 anymore and one night of too much booze will hurt me for a couple days. If it turns out to be fun, I can always stay longer. On to mainland Greece from there working my way to Athens. Then I'll island hop my way to Turkey. Figuring out what islands to go to is my biggest challenge at the moment. They all sound good! I need to check the ferry schedules to see what's even possible. Go around ...
