As I fiddled around, a gentleman and his son walked up and we started chatting about my plane and the one that he is building back home, near Belfast, Northern Ireland. ...

... Square", a large exhibition area sponsored by my company. Alex and I clambered through the plane, and he was impressed by the spartan conditions available to the crew. Most of all, he realized how lonely the tailgunner's position would have been.

As always at Oshkosh, here I am 1,600 miles from home, and one of the first people I bump into is Norm Howell, a guy I work with at Boeing who sits 30' from me.
