7/2 Day 11 We resumed sightseeing today after a CVS stop for script renewals. This was a real pleasure due to their national computer system. On our 2010 trip scripts were a real pain as we were doing mailed scripts and had to get everything mailed to a general delivery in a future town. Then had to go back and get everything mailed back home after the trip.
We first went to the Lewis and Clark memorial in Council Bluff. It looked like a beautiful ...
... buttons. So, that won't be accurate :(.... Oh well. And Kody got out the RV door, that I thought I shut, at the Horseshoe. She ran two trucks down and was just standing there looking back at the RV when I realized. Such a good girl, came running back in when I called her! Whew! ... was opening! We were there Thursday night and didn’t even know they were having a soft opening that night! We got some really good deals and a free water bottle from Adidas and a pearl bracelet from a jewelry store. We had perfect timing stopping here! Once we got back to Omaha we walked over the Bob Hope Pedestrian Bridge, in the middle of the bridge has the Iowa/Nebraska state line. Suzanne had the leave the next day but we defiantly had a fun time while she was here!
