The girls went to the beach on the Hood Canal while I ran a few miles to town to do laundry and wash the car. The girls did not care for the beach. ... br> Our Lisa was home to greet us, along with another of our "most favorite" grand-dogs, Madison. Rich arrived a bit later. They, as usual, made us feel Most Welcome.
Later in the eve, Rich prepared a Baked Ham. Lisa added "scratch" potatoes au gratin with "homemade cheese sauce" as she just told me to say. Hi Lisa!
We played a bit of three-handed YAHTZEE, Rich having decided to hit the hay early. I came in third. Need I say more??

I met my cousin Joseph for the first time and was pleasantly surprised to find that my cousin John T had been able to get time off to come up from Texas (yes, the rest of you are chop liver ;0) It was nice just to hang out, chat, catch-up with everyone. ... things I thought really funny was that the locals at Safeway already know Claire. She has made friends. They do not know how to check an English Identification to buy alcohol and she is 37 years old. They had to call the store manager to look at the ID. Orting is a very isolated place in between two mountains in a valley that does not get a lot of diversity, so Claire is pretty much the only English person that has ever been here.
... on for another night. My aunt booked us another night in the Green room, and we were off. We took the ferry to Fauntleroy, and then drove up to downtown Seattle. We drove around for a bit, checking out the city and driving down by the docks where they had just built a huge new ferris wheel. We found a spot to park, and then headed to the Space Needle.
